What Is Daxi?
Daxi is the newest neuromodulator on the U.S. market. Currently available neuromodulators include Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, and Jeuveau. All currently available neuromodulators work by relaxing the muscles beneath your skin to release the tension which causes wrinkles.
Currently, Botox and Dysport are the most popular cosmetic procedures in the United States. Treatments with Daxi are just like treatments with these products. Treatment is performed in just a few minutes, with results in several days. The muscles of the face repeatedly contract and tighten over time, and this can cause wrinkles. Daxi works by blocking the signal from the nerve to the muscles, resulting in the reduction of muscle activity which in turn reduces the appearance of wrinkles and the formation of lines that form over time. As the muscles relax, skin becomes smoother and deep lines begin to fill in with repeated treatments.
Daxi has the same main ingredient as Botox but unlike Botox it also contains a proprietary peptide stabilizer to make the medication work longer.
